About the project
We designed the logo and visual identity for the national initiative GReco ISLANDS. Our ultimate goal was to accurately and creatively capture the core objectives and values of the initiative.
GReco ISLANDS focuses on reducing environmental impacts by enhancing the penetration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) on non-interconnected islands, as well as saving electricity costs.
In turn, we created a visual identity that not only represents these ambitions but also highlights the strong connection of the initiative with Greek nature and green technologies. The logo itself is modern and exudes an air of innovation.
The goals of the GReco ISLANDS initiative are Environmental Impact Reduction, Enhancing RES penetration in Non-Interconnected Islands, and Saving Electricity Costs.
Aiming to establish a unified framework, this effort seeks to enable all Greek islands, beginning with the smallest ones, to actively join the ongoing green transition, ultimately serving as models for other European regions and countries to follow.
About the client
Chalki is the first island of the GR-eco Islands national initiative, a model for the other non-interconnected islands. The green energy transition is to be accomplished, with investments in RES, savings, electricity, and telecommunications.
