About the project
The Marketing team of The Lloyd's Register Foundation reached out to us to take on the design of the ICON logotype and visual identity, which would later be incorporated into the printed materials, website, and various promotional media of the consortium.
Our team of experts undertook the strategic design and artistic direction of the logo, creating a design that reflects the innovation and technological advancement of ICON. We focused particularly on ensuring the logo's distinctiveness, recognizability, and flexibility so that it could adapt seamlessly across different media platforms.
The design of the visual identity also included the selection of colors, fonts, and elements that highlight ICON's global dimension and cutting-edge technology while ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
The Lloyd's Register Foundation International Consortium of Nanotechnologies (ICON) is an international network with a primary goal of addressing the challenges that emerge from the latest developments and applications in the field of nanotechnology, with the ultimate aim of improving safety.
This network includes leading academics, researchers, innovative industrialists, and students who collaborate to advance scientific knowledge, develop new technologies, and ensure their safe integration into industrial and societal applications on a global scale.
About the client
The LRF - ICON Foundation logotype was designed to clearly depict the atomic carbon structure of Graphene, the most known and widely used material for nanotechnology applications
