About the project
The native My NGS application is an innovative ally for adopting a healthier lifestyle, designed for iOS and Android devices. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive, engaging, and interactive experience for those striving to achieve long-term goals and improve their well-being.
By integrating advanced technologies and APIs, the application provides secure and personalized tracking of nutritional habits, as well as other daily routines like exercise, sleep, and hydration. Through interactive charts and real-time statistical feedback, users can receive immediate and realistic insights to monitor their progress effectively.
The intuitive interface enables users to review their results, view historical data, and track changes in a straightforward and comprehensible way. The platform also provides easy access to search and filtering tools, ensuring quick and accurate access to information.
Noetik undertook the transformation of the existing MyNGS web application into a native mobile app, enabling users to take advantage of features such as biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint), push notifications, as well as access to their device’s camera and photo gallery.
To achieve this, we chose Microsoft .NET MAUI, a powerful framework that allows the development of applications for iOS and Android using a shared code-base, ensuring time and cost efficiency.
To maintain uniformity and consistency between web and mobile platforms, we developed a set of REST APIs for authentication and data exchange. Additionally, to further optimize development time and cost, we integrated WebView components, allowing the reuse of web-based screens within the application.
